I painted this fan-cel on acetate sheet Dura-Lar Graphix (a cel*) with special Acryl for this transparant plastic support.
Sized 14” x 17”
About the fan-cel, It’s Lelouch Vi Britania and C.C from Code Geass.
I made the background with Copic markers on Copic paper. I used my airbrush to do the light effect in the window.
In real life, the fan-cel have more soft colors…. (it’s hard to scan) and sorry for the lines of adaptation, I must scaned it in 3 times. (my scanner is too small => A4 size -_- )
*a Cel is the support used by animations studios until 2001, it’s the transparant sheets where are painted the characters and captured by the special camera… That is a cel.
Now the animations studios use computers to color and animate the characters, just the sketches are made by hand.
